but i thought maybe there will be some way for me to get kids interested in history and think of it more as a story of things that happened in our past...rather than just a boring lists of facts, ya know? i figure stories are much more interesting...but i just haven't figured out yet how to be a good storyteller... i'm already having nightmares of my future students falling asleep on me...

lol! oh, i agree that speeding is so much fun...dangerous i know...but i luv that thrill! the thing is...cuz of the car i drive...i have to be so much more careful cuz cops always wanna pull me over! they think i'm some punk teenager trying to cause trouble or something.. it's so not fair! but a couple of times i was able to play dumb (like a silly girl) to get out of a speeding ticket and then to get out of a ticket for running a stop sign... sometimes it's so advantageous to be a girl...

yup yup, taxes here are just absurd...and in fact, many people have to move away from hawaii cuz they just can't support themselves here. and businesses don't wanna come here either cuz of the taxes on them, as well! so for awhile we were really experiencing a brain drain from our state cuz many people would leave hawaii to work and live somewhere else.
and no way would i take the bus after experiencing the freedom of my car...
but once my dad confiscated my car from me cuz my car insurance kicked me out since i was deemed a high risk driver... and it's illegal to drive without insurance, so my dad took away my car to make sure i wouldn't secretly drive...and i was stuck taking the bus or walking! man, that was horrible but taught me a very valuable lesson..

well, i did finish my huge suicide project...but i'm not sure how i did yet cuz i haven't checked if our profs posted up our grades... i seem to keep forgetting to look online for our grades...or just too darn lazy...lol!
and now i have to do a unit plan for the french revolution... and that's not my choice...i'm gonna have to pick up on that topic from my new mentor teacher this coming semester... @_@ and of course it's coming along very miserably... i think my mentor is gonna hate me cuz my subject knowledge is so weak on world history and i'm a terrible planner...

omigosh...if you take those breaks in between posts...you must take forever to reply... but sounds like a good plan...i should do the same thing so my fingers don't fall off... but i don't think ayane-chan needs any rest cuz she's a super pro at this stuff...lol!

Oh yeah... ummm... hi. Merry christmas. I know she was mad with me... Is she still mad? I still can't really figure out what its over though. Did I say something wrong? Ummm... maybe I said something I thought meant one thing and she thought meant another... Anyway, its my fault, ok? Please tell her not to be so angry with me... I hope she is not... and ayane, if you're reading this, you can come and scold me if you want... Hmmm... another thing is I can't go to her guestbook now, or I'll ask her myself. Exams... Results came out on Monday. I did ok I guess. 2 As and 3 Bs. Kinda average but oh well... How about you? School is going to start again soon. Hopefully I won't get too stressed over it. oh man, we don't have mass transit at all...we only have public buses... but our mayor and city are trying to make proposals to solve our traffic problem which will surely get worst as the population naturally increases. but the thing that frightens me is that our taxes will of course go up once they decide on a solution... and the taxes in hawaii are so high as it is...i think we're one of the most expensive places to live compared to other states.

well, i have heard of hostels before, but it's the first time i've heard it used as a college dorm. hostels over here just means like a really cheap inn or hotel well travelers can stay when they're visiting a place. and i never knew it was a dorm, too! thanks for that info...
